 About “Out Of Your Way Tonight”

The main riff for the track first came to me during a break at the studio. I was riffing on a 3/4 size Taylor acoustic and just kept going round and round on that little pattern. By the end of the day I had the bones of the song. I first tried it out busking on the street and found people were immediately drawn in by the groove of the song. The meaning behind the song is laid bare in the title itself. Sometimes the only way to get through the toughest times  is to make some space.
